While president George Bush was in Iraq for a conference meeting an outraged reporter threw two shoes at Bush luckily he missed him. Bush was not hurt but the reporter might spend up to two years in jail.

Robert Frost Middle School is donating cans to help people.If Frost collects 4,000 cans the students get a free shirt day on December 17 .

Help the Elephants!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Los Angeles zoo is having trouble with their elephant Billy. Billy has no room to run around so the zoo wants expand his area. The only bad thing is that the city doesn't want to. The city might just let Billy go run free in large free grass areas instead.

The music is to LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are complaining about the music and how it's way to loud in cars and at homes. So judge Sacco made teens like 18 years old or younger sit in court with him and listen to music they don't like. The judge made him listen to the Barney theme song and Barry.They listened for one hour.

Pirates

Pirates hit the high seas again but this time not in fancy ships but in motor boats. Yesterday the pirates were attacking a cruise ship shooting at it's engine 8 times. Luckily no one was hurt but they had to go to dock immediately.

8 year old kills dad

A little boy has been abused all his life by his dad. Now yesterday the boy called his dad up the stairs when he got to the top the 8 year old boy got a gun and shot his dad two times. Now judges are thinking about what would happen to the little boy they will have to see in court.

Myspace

A woman made a Myspace account and lied saying she was a teen age boy. Then she added a girl and they became friends and the woman pretended to like her then the young girl started to like the fake teen age boy. After that she started horacing her she said oh I don't like you anymore and the young girl committed suicide.

Mumbai under attack

Mumbai is under attack by terrorists. The terrorists are attacking local hotels and cafe's. Some hotels are under hostage with people in them. They are also bombing some hotels too.

Pirates Still out there

The pirates are still on the high seas. With a 100,000,000 dollar ship that they stole. Now they want us to pay 15,000,000 dollars just to get it back.

Mascots

Did you know there is a boot camp for mascots. Its true there is its a camp where mascots can train and learn how to be a good mascot at cheers and games. They learn all of the moves,how to eat healthy and entertain people.

TWILIGHT

On November 21 the movie Twilight came to the theaters. Over the weekend it broke the box office record. Everyone said it was the best movie ever. I am going to see it this Wednesday with my best friends. Everyone was impressed with the acting of Robert Patterson who plays as Edward
cullen. If you didnt see Twilight go see it or a least read the book.

Nebraska Law

The law in Nebraska is that parents can abandon their kids in a hospital if they don't want them anymore. Babies and teens can both be abandoned. Now Nebraska wants to ban this abandonment law. If they do no kids will be abandoned.

Mans best friend in war

Today not all dogs are just sitting around at home with their families. Now they are going to war. The military made a dog hospital for them if they get hurt. The dogs have been trained to sniff stuff out like drugs and other dangerous things.

Pirates are back not Johnny Depp real pirates. These pirates take away your ship they steal it from you. They also take all of your belongs and money. The pirates are doing this to make money fast. Some of them have already been caught but some are still floating around on the sea.

Going back to their home

Everyone who has been affected by the fire is going back to their burned down homes to check if any of their belongings have made it. They will go through everything and try to find items that have not been destroyed by the fire.

Fires still going on

The fires in California are still going on. It has already been a week more than one thousand homes have been lost and hundreds are at risk. My friends home has burned down in the middle of the night and he was not able to take anything with him. This is really bad because a lot of people are going to be homeless.

Security Agreement

We signed a security agreement deal with an leader in Iraq. This means that we are bringing the troops home for good. Now no more fighting it's like a peace treaty.

Wild Fires

Wild fires have started in California again.There are seven of them so far. There is one in Sylmar ,Montecito,Chino hills,and more around California. Thousands of people were evacuated and hundreds of homes were burned down. They only have 40% of the fire in Sylmar controlled.

Veterans Day

Yesterday it was Veterans day. We all stayed home from school and some people stayed home from work. If you don't know why we were home its because of the soldiers. We stay home to honor all of the soldiers who went to war for us. They go and risk their lives for us to make us safe so that's why we stay home to honor them for that.

Help The Military!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every Wednesday Frost middle school is donating supplies and food to the military. Like can foods and everyday supplies. So bring something from home to give to the soldiers who put their lives on the line for us everyday. You don't have to but its still a nice thing to do.

Prop 2 Passed

Today on the news they said that prop 2 has been passed. Now in California farm animals are going to be in bigger cages. They will also have more space to be free and do whatever they want.

Prop 8

Prop 8 has been passed that means that gay people are not allowed to marry. Now marriage is gonna be only between a man and a woman. They cant be married in the united states.

OBAMA WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally after the long wait we got a new president BARACK OBAMA. Yesterday he was elected then he gave a speech to everyone in Chicago. It also showed on TV, most people voted for him other than his former opponent John McCain. Everyone was cheering,screaming,happy,and crying. Now are former president George Bush will stay in the white house until Janurary 9. Then Obama will move in the white house congradulations Obama. "YES WE CAN"

Tomorrow is the big day its when we get a new president. Who will it be Barack Obama or John McCain? Watch to find out who it will be. It will probably be on every channel.

Affirmitive Action

Now some colleges are rejecting and accepting students because of their race. Like if you send the college of your choice your personal information and they read it. After they read it they reject you but your information is perfect. Maybe they rejected you because of your race. Or if they accept you because of your race. I think that is very wrong they should not choose students by their race. But by how good their learning standards are or how smart they are.

2008 Elections

This October everyone voted for the next president. So far Barack Obama is in the lead,and John McCain has a lot of catching up to do. Obama won most of the electoral votes. While McCain only won a few. Remember this tuesday they are going to tell us who will be the next president.
